Design Lead Civil and Structure Manager

As a Senior Structural Engineer with Modular Building Experience, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Civil, Structural, and Architectural professionals. Your role will involve designing RCC and Steel structures, preparing architectural layouts, civil and structural design reports, and drawings based on client input. You should have hands-on experience in designing foundations and steel connections using RAM or MS Excel spreadsheets, and a strong understanding of International Design Codes such as ACI-318, SAUDI BUILDING CODE, BS8110, and IS456. In this position, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel formulas and manual calculations when necessary. It is crucial to understand client requirements, prepare design deliverable schedules, and ensure projects are completed within set deadlines. You will be responsible for reviewing drawings for design intent, marking up corrections, and overseeing the work allocated to the engineering design team. Experience in the Modular Building Industry, as well as familiarity with Frame CAD, STRAP, Vertex Bd software, and AutoCAD, will be advantageous for this role. Effective communication skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage a team of 10-12 engineers are desirable qualities. Furthermore, you will be expected to coordinate technical activities related to architectural and engineering projects, liaise with various stakeholders, and present design proposals and bids to management within specified timelines. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the field.
