Job Description

A Design Head in SolidWorks is responsible for leading a design team, overseeing projects, and ensuring designs meet client requirements and industry standards using SolidWorks software. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Recruiting, managing, and inspiring the design team. Project Management: Overseeing projects from inception to completion, including creating timelines, budgets, and storyboards. Client Communication: Meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and pitching project ideas. Design Development: Developing and refining designs using SolidWorks, ensuring they meet functional and aesthetic requirements. Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams (production, sales, site) to ensure project success. Design Improvement: Identifying and implementing design improvements to enhance functionality and manufacturability. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling, technical drawing, and structural design using SolidWorks. Documentation: Creating Bill of Materials (BOMs) and fabrication-ready drawings. Compliance: Ensuring designs adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
