Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) from concept to production.
• Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks software
• Develop fabrication drawings for sheet metal and machined components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, and manufacturing.
• Modify and improve existing machine designs based on feedback or functional requirements.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturing objectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and BOMs.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in designing SPMs or custom automation equipment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tool- SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of part modeling, assemblies, and sheet metal design.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
