Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer at Trio India, a leading manufacturer of fire doors and cleanroom partition panels, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed designs, optimizing product functionality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your expertise in mechanical or industrial design, proficiency in CAD software, and experience in manufacturing processes will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop 2D and 3D CAD models for fire doors and cleanroom partition panels. - Create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software. - Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and product quality. - Perform engineering calculations and structural analysis to validate designs. - Work with customers and project managers to understand requirements and develop custom solutions. - Conduct material selection and cost optimization for efficient production. - Ensure designs comply with fire safety standards and cleanroom regulations. - Assist in prototyping and testing of new products and design modifications. - Maintain design documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and revision history. - Support the R&D team in developing innovative designs and improving existing products. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software. - Knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication processes, and material properties. - Understanding of fire door and cleanroom partition standards (preferred). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
