Job Summary:

The Trainee Design Engineer will assist in civil and structural design for residential and commercial projects. The role involves design calculations, preparation of drawings, coordination with drafting teams, and adherence to quality standards for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural design and analysis of residential and commercial buildings
• Prepare design documents in accordance with Indian and US codes
• Support concept design and detailed engineering
• Coordinate with drafters for preparation of construction drawings
• Conduct checking and verification of drawings and calculations
• Assist in preparation of RFIs and client responses
• Follow company QA/QC procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of engineering outputs

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals
• Understanding of Indian and US codes (IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE desirable)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic STAAD.Pro
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• BE Civil / ME Structures / M.Tech Civil Engineering

Experience:

• Fresher or Graduate Engineer

Preferred Tools:

• STAAD.Pro
• MS Excel
• Structural Analysis Software
