Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Tool Design & Development

Design and develop tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and dies based on product requirements and manufacturing processes.
Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX,
or Creo
.
Collaborate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs meet functionality and quality standards.

Process Improvement & Optimization

Analyze existing tools and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
Support prototyping and testing of tools and troubleshoot design-related issues during production.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, BOMs, and process workflows.
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, safety guidelines, and company procedures.

Cross-functional Coordination

Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and external tool manufacturers during design finalization and production.
Provide technical support during tool manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Certification or training in CAD software and tool design is preferred

Experience:

27 years of experience in tool design, preferably in automotive, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries
Hands-on experience with CAD tools and familiarity with manufacturing processes

Key Skills:

Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
Good communication and teamwork abilities
