• Proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling within a product development environment.
• Ability to apply engineering analysis, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and diligence in finding the best solution for each design challenge.
• Strong analytical/decision-making skills to trade-off between concepts.
• Experience leading an DFMEA assessment to successful completion with associated risk reduced to an acceptable level and driving Design Verification and Plan Report (DVPR).
• Hands-on experience in Sheet metal and Plastic Designing. Strong experience in statistical tolerance stack up techniques, functional dimensioning, geometric tolerance, ASME Standards.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary fabrication teams to build and assemble prototypes.
• Experience with simulation and modelling tools for both 2D and 3D applications.
• Experience and passion for hands-on prototyping. Experience working in a highly collaborative team environment and self-motivated to identify and resolve design issues.
• A solid history of solving complex problems while being able to work collaboratively while handling multiple projects on various timelines - this includes working with junior engineers to help them complete their projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to articulate design performance and independently drive
