Design Engineer | Plastics (IP)

As a Design Engineer specializing in plastic Injection Parts (IP) at APPL Global InfoTech, your role involves creating innovative and efficient designs for plastic components using your expertise in UGNX software. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing innovative design concepts for plastic IP components based on market trends, customer needs, and technical specifications. - Creating detailed 3D models of plastic IP components, ensuring accuracy and precision. - Continuously refining designs to improve functionality, reduce costs, and enhance aesthetics. - Selecting appropriate plastic materials for IP components based on factors such as strength, durability, and appearance. - Collaborating with mold designers to ensure manufacturability and optimize the molding process. - Conducting tolerance analysis to ensure achievable design tolerances meet functional requirements. - Assisting in the development and testing of prototypes to verify design performance. - Maintaining detailed documentation of design processes, including design files, calculations, and test results. - Ensuring that designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in plastic IP design. - Proficiency in UGNX software for 3D modeling and design. - Strong understanding of plastic materials, properties, and manufacturing processes. - Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.,
