Design Engineer | Plastic Interior Trims

As a Design Engineer at APPL Global InfoTech, you will be responsible for the design and development of plastic components. Your key responsibilities will include: - Experience in Design & development of plastics components. - Responsible for technical concept, feasibility, packaging, and customer specification fulfillment of the product. - Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA. - Complete study of the seat using kinematics/Motion file to perform packaging studies. - Perform regulatory checks related to plastic components (AIS, ECE, FMVSS). - Creation of engineering plastic component drawings. - Understanding customer requirements and coordinating directly with suppliers and plant teams. - Working with the Proto team in developing the part. - Understanding tool design. Qualifications required for this role include: - BE / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 3+ years of experience. - Proficiency in CATIA V5 software.
