Requirements

Education & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
2 to 9 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, or automotive).
Demonstrated experience in MPR processes, including concept generation, prototyping, testing, and transition to manufacturing.
Hands on FEA.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX) and generating engineering drawings with full GD&T.
Strong understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
Experience with tolerance analysis and material selection for performance-critical components.
Knowledge of additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and other prototyping and production methods.
Familiarity with mechanical testing and design validation protocols.
