As a Mechanical Engineer at the largest manufacturer of Bulk Conveying Chains and Accessories in India, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Solidworks for the design and development of heavy machinery. Your responsibilities will include: - Proficiency in 2D drafting & 3D modeling. - Ability to interpret technical drawings. - Familiarity with GD&T parameters. - Strong knowledge of Solidworks & AutoCAD. - Utilizing CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans. - Collaborating with engineers on various projects. - Selecting appropriate sizes and materials for products. - Providing daily progress reports to the Head of Department. To excel in this role, you should possess knowledge in: - Autocad and Solidworks software. - Finite Element Analysis for stress, bearing load capacity, and materials. - Familiarity with material handling equipment such as Sprockets, Shafts, Pans, Buckets, and Gears. - Drafting correspondence with internal and external customers. Qualifications required for this position include a BE in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in a Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company. Additionally, a Diploma or B.E in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. The company, established in 1978, has a global presence with exports to over 35 countries, including the EU & US.
