Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings for components, assemblies, and systems.
Collaborate with project teams to define design requirements and specifications.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs.
Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
Participate in design reviews, FMEA, and risk assessments.
Support prototype development and testing activities.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
Maintain proper documentation of design changes and version control.
Research and implement new materials, technologies, and methods to improve design efficiency and product performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in a design engineering role (entry-level positions also available depending on company size).
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo)
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
