Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new AGV and AMR models, focusing on both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Build and test prototypes to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the testing team to conduct simulations and real-world testing scenarios.
• Integrate various components and systems including sensors, control units, and power systems into the overall design.
• Ensure seamless operation of hardware and software systems within the robots.
• Analyze and optimize existing products for performance improvements, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Implement design changes based on feedback from product and field service team.
• Prepare detailed documentation for designs, including technical specifications, BOMs, and user manuals.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product development and R&D Engineers.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on project planning and timelines.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics, automation, and related technologies.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing our product portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for improving design processes and methodologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering team.

Key Skills, Qualifications, and Required Years of Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in robotics or automation.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems design.
• Experience with prototype development and testing.
• Knowledge of robotics software and control systems is a plus.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certifications are advantageous
