Job Description

As an ELV & Building Management System (BMS) Design Engineer at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in the design and optimization of BMS & ELV systems to meet customer requirements efficiently. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand project specifications, designing systems in line with project needs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and preparing technical documentation for customer approvals. You will be responsible for estimating project requirements, preparing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), coordinating with vendors for technical specifications, and collaborating with internal teams for smooth project execution. Additionally, you will travel to project sites for system implementation verification, utilize software tools like AutoCAD and EPLAN for preparing layouts, and optimize system designs for cost efficiency and performance enhancement. As a successful candidate, you should hold a degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in ELV and BMS design. You should have strong technical proficiency in BMS, ELV systems, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and Document Management Systems, along with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. A willingness to travel to project sites and experience in leadership roles will be beneficial for this position.
