Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Study customer specifications and single line diagrams and convert them into panel designs.
Prepare GA drawings and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Select suitable electrical components like ACB, MCCB, contactors, relays, meters and busbars.
Do basic electrical calculations for load, shortcircuit and busbar sizing where required.
Ensure designs follow relevant IEC/IS standards and company guidelines.
Release BOM and drawings for production and support during panel assembly and testing.
Coordinate with sales/project teams and attend technical discussions with customers when needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Degree or diploma in
Electrical
Engineering.
0 - 2 years of experience in electrical panel/switchgear design
Experience in LV/MV switchgear, distribution boards or MCC design preferred.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.
Basic MS Office skills for reports and documentation
