Your role will be crucial in ensuring the innovative solutions provided by the company meet industry standards and exceed expectations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and translate them into practical solutions. - Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of equipment components and assemblies. - Employ CAM software to generate machining paths and optimize manufacturing processes. - Develop design concepts, sketches, and prototypes for validation. - Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of designs to ensure compliance with standards. - Collaborate with production engineers to ensure efficient production processes. - Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for improvement. - Create technical documentation including design drawings and bills of materials. - Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for material selection. - Stay updated with advancements in CAD/CAM technologies. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Previous experience as a Design Engineer in the equipment manufacturing industry. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER) for 2D and 3D modeling. - Strong knowledge of CAM software (e.g., ViziCAM, Mastercam, NX CAM) for machining paths. - Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawings. - Understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
