Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyses contracts and specifications for equipment and selects the right products for the required solution.
- Designs material lists for the solution
- BOM Knowledge
- Takes safety, maintenance and manufacturability aspects into account and designs environmentally sustainable solutions when possible.
- Cost understanding of solutions and components
- Updates order progress to other stakeholders on a timely basis.
- As a member of an engineering team, shares his/her knowledge and skills with colleagues and participates actively in meetings and workshops.
- Works independently on the assigned tasks and delivers the required results on time.
- Applies a customer service mind set.
- Complies and performs according to the Service Level Agreement between SL/FL
- Performs independent engineering according to instructions or light modifications. The requested solutions are designs according to the contract and specification that the Front Line (FL) has agreed with customers.
- Identifies and selects the components required for the solution and designs the individual components to meet customer specific requirements.
Required Technical, Tools / Software Knowledge:
knowledge in AUTOCAD.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools is an added advantage.
Soft Skill:
Good Verbal & Email communication in English
Candidate should have 3-5 Years of experience in AUTOCAD knowledge and Preferably in Elevator Field.
B.E/B. Tech from Mechanical stream
Preferably on Modernization field experience of Elevator Industry will be added advantage
Knowledge and understanding of company equipment offering, technical design, structure and details and
of the technical strengths and limitations of products.
Analyses contracts and specifications for equipment and selects the right products for the required
solution.
Draws layout drawings for the solution.
Creates design drawings (M-drawings) as requested based on products offering with reference building
plans
Modifies the Bill of Material for the equipment and selects customer specific components when
necessary.
Cost understanding of solutions and components
Takes safety aspects into account and selects environmentally sustainable solutions when possible.
Updates order progress to other stakeholders on a timely basis.
As a member of an engineering team, shares his/her knowledge and skills with colleagues and
participates actively in meetings and workshops.
Works independently on the assigned tasks and delivers the required results on time.
Performs independent engineering according to instructions or light modifications. The requested
solutions are designs according to the contract and specification that the Front Line (FL) has
agreed with customers.
Identifies and selects the components required for the solution and designs the individual
components to meet customer specific requirements.
May act as a local trainer and act as a meeting coordinator, typically in the local responsibility area.
