Design and develop Electrical and Plumbing systems.
Prepare detailed construction drawings, schematics, specifications and schedules. Perform accurate load calculations; select appropriate equipment for E&P systems.
Prepare cost estimates for E&P systems and contribute in project budgets.
Collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, HVAC designers and project managers to integrate E&P systems into overall design.
Conduct site inspections and coordination during construction to resolve technical issues and ensure design compliance.
Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, local regulations, safety and sustainability standards.
Review and approve electrical and plumbing submittals, shop drawings and material specifications from contractors or vendors.
Provide technical support for bidding, procurement and construction phases.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of proven experience in Electrical & Plumbing design for construction projects.
Strong understanding of E&P design principles, building codes and safety regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design/simulation tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, energy-efficient building practices and sustainable practices in MEP engineering.
Excellent communication, coordination and project management skills.
