Job Description

Role & responsibilities Job Description: We are looking for a Design Engineer with 2-5 years of experience who is proficient in SolidWorks . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying engineering components and systems while ensuring product quality and manufacturability. Key Responsibilities: Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks . Develop detailed designs for mechanical components and assemblies . Perform design calculations, feasibility studies, and material selection . Work closely with the production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are manufacturable. Assist in prototyping, testing, and improving product designs . Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines . Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and reports . Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design improvements and project execution. Requirements: Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field . 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering. Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory). Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and materials . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with sheet metal design, fabrication, and welding . Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software . Understanding of structural analysis and FEA .
