Design Engineer (3d routing & packaging)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for 3D routing and packaging in CATIA V5 Electrical, focusing on wiring harness routing. Your role will involve extensive design experience in electrical routing and packaging, including expertise in packaging and integration of electrical components such as bracket design. You will also be involved in clash analysis, DMU, design of clamps, brackets, panels, grommets, seals, fuse box, and channels for wiring harness at desired locations. Additionally, your knowledge of DFMEA and preparation of Info fitment drawings will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design clamps, brackets, panels, grommets, seals, fuse box, and channels for wiring harness at specified locations - Select proper retention items like retention clips, cable ties, etc., during 3D model routing - Choose appropriate harness coverings (e.g., conduit, tape, premium sleeving) based on 3D model routing and surrounding geometry - Manage release in PLM and ECN Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in CATIA V5 Electrical for 3D wiring harness routing - Extensive design experience in electrical routing and packaging - Knowledge of electrical components packaging and integration, including bracket design - Familiarity with clash analysis, DMU, and design tools - Understanding of DFMEA and preparation of Info fitment drawings - Experience in selection of retention items and harness coverings based on routing and packaging requirements (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
