Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Architectural Draftsman based in Bengaluru. We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to produce detailed and accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and plans used in architectural and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of building design, CAD software, and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to translate concepts into technical drawings.
• Modify and revise drawings as requested by architects or project managers.
• Ensure all plans comply with local codes, zoning laws, and building regulations.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants as needed.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in developing 3D models, renderings, and presentations when required.
• Conduct site measurements or visits if necessary for drawing accuracy.
• Keep up to date with changes in design trends, construction methods, and CAD technologies.

Education:

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or related field (Bachelors degree preferred).

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in architectural drafting or similar role.
• Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial projects (as per company focus).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
