Kotak 811, is committed to providing equal employment opportunities Role - Design Director We are seeking a highly creative and visionary Design Director to lead our design team and drive the visual identity, creative direction, and user experience across all projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a hands-on designer who can inspire teams while ensuring the highest quality of design output aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities . Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of designers (graphic, UI/UX, product, motion, or brand depending on industry). . Develop and articulate the creative vision and design strategy for the brand, product, and campaigns. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, engineering, and leadership to align design with business objectives. . Ensure consistency and excellence in brand identity, visual storytelling, and user experience across all touchpoints. . Oversee the design process from concept to execution, providing constructive feedback and guidance. . Stay updated with design trends, emerging tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the organization. . Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards. . Present creative concepts and design strategies to senior stakeholders and clients (if applicable). Qualifications & Skills . Bachelor's/Master's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Communication, or a related field. . 10+ years of professional design experience with at least 4+ years in a leadership role. . Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, visual design, UX/UI, or product design. . Proven experience in building and managing high-performing creative teams. . Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills. . Strong understanding of design systems, user-centered design, and brand identity. . Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.). . Ability to balance creativity with business objectives and deliver measurable impact. Key Competencies .
