Design and Sales Manager - Home interior

As an Interior Design Manager at Interior Company, a subsidiary of Square Yards, you will be leading a team of designers to create innovative and trendsetting home dcor collections. Your role will involve managing the entire design process, from concept to execution, ensuring that the designs align with market trends, brand vision, and customer preferences. Additionally, you will be responsible for team leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, trend analysis, quality control, and maintaining brand consistency. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end design process for new home dcor products, ensuring alignment with market trends and brand identity. - Mentor and develop a team of designers, providing direction and feedback to maintain high-quality output. - Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility of designs and cost-effective production. - Stay updated on industry trends, conduct market research, and anticipate consumer demands to create marketable products. - Ensure designs meet quality standards, manufacturing capabilities, and brand consistency across all products. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field. A Master's degree or advanced certification in design is a plus. - Minimum 5-7 years of product design experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. - Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes. - Excellent communication skills, project management skills, and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. - Passion for design, strong leadership abilities, and collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in e-commerce or retail environments, especially in home goods. - Knowledge of sustainable design practices, 3D modeling, and rendering software.
