Planning
Roles & Responsibilities:Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Exports teams to identify new product opportunities.Stay updated on food technology trends and innovations.Review product/process literature to drive improvements and cost efficiency.Visit vendor sites to suggest changes as needed.Conduct scheduled sensory evaluations.
Operations
Monitor yields, wastages, and conduct HACCP reviews.Analyze customer complaints and identify root causes.Audit and improve product processes.Perform regular stock and process inspections.Coordinate with product managers for new product evaluations and recipe adjustments.Finalize recipes/processes post successful trials and ensure documentation.Oversee trial runs with Production and refine processes accordingly.Inspect stored products to prevent spoilage; recommend corrective actions.Liaise with Purchase for raw material pricing and cost-effective alternatives.Identify and select appropriate equipment and processes.
Training & Support
Deliver shop-floor and classroom training at factories.Share product insights with Marketing/SaIes teams.Stay trained in regulatory, quality, and technical systems as needed.
