Deputy Plant Head

As the Deputy Plant Head - Formulation, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the formulation plant. Your primary focus will be ensuring the manufacturing processes are efficient, compliant with regulations, and capable of producing high-quality products. You will lead and mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the formulation plant to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Manage, mentor, and develop plant staff to achieve operational goals.
• Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to innovate and improve formulations.
• Develop and manage the plant&aposs budget and resources.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operational, reducing downtime and maintaining production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or formulation.
• Proven leadership skills with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, safety, and regulatory guidelines in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
