Role & responsibilities:

• Strategic Nursing Leadership

  Assist in designing and executing the nursing departments strategic plan aligned with hospital goals.

• Operational Oversight

  – Supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing operations across all units, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.

• Quality & Compliance

  – Drive implementation of

  NABH, JCI, and other accreditation standards

  , ensuring strict adherence to protocols and clinical governance frameworks.

• Talent Management

  – Oversee recruitment, orientation, mentoring, and competency assessment of nursing staff to foster a high-performance culture.

• Workforce Planning

  – Prepare and monitor duty rosters, manage staffing levels, optimize resource allocation, and control overtime.

• Training & Professional Development

  – Spearhead continuous education programs, CME sessions, and skill enhancement workshops to keep nursing teams updated with the latest practices.

• Patient-Centric Care

  – Ensure a compassionate, ethical, and respectful environment for patients and their families, with prompt grievance redressal.

• Risk & Safety Management

  – Implement robust infection control, biomedical waste management, and safety procedures to mitigate risks.

• Interdepartmental Collaboration

  – Act as a vital link between nursing, medical, and administrative teams to enhance operational synergy.

• Performance & Discipline

  – Conduct appraisals, address staff concerns, and enforce discipline while maintaining high morale and engagement.

• Data & Reporting

  – Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records, prepare performance reports, and assist in audits.
