Deputy Manager - Transmission Case

You will be responsible for designing and developing gear box housing (Aluminum casting) for automotive transmissions. This includes laying out and packaging the transmission in the vehicle, designing the gear box housing through modeling, Designer CAE, and 2D drafting. You will also be involved in the development of prototype parts and tooled up parts in collaboration with suppliers and Production engineering. Your role will entail analyzing CAE results and testing failures or market problems related to gear-box housing. You should have technical competencies in CAD proficiency, specifically in Uni-graphics, and Designer CAE & analysis proficiency in Uni-graphics. Additionally, you should have an understanding of Aluminum casting processes such as HPDC, LPDC, GDC, and sand casting. Knowledge of manual transmission sub-systems including gearbox, gear shift mechanism, and synchromesh system is required. Tolerance stack-up and project management skills using Gantt chart & PERT techniques are essential for this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E, B. Tech, M. Tech in Mechanical with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. A relevant experience of 3 to 6 years is preferred for this role.,
