Deputy Manager - Taxation

Role & responsibilities:

• Preparation of Corporate Tax return/ TP details for the entity including computation for advance tax liability.

• Preparing details for Tax/ TP Assessments Preparing supporting details for successful tax assessment on timely and comprehensive manner.

• Preparation of tax Schedules and details for Statutory Audit / Tax Audits and GST Audits.

• Month End closing / Finalisation Responsible for key components of financial period closing and its associated closing entries in ERP, like calculation of DTA, GST Balance, Current tax liability etc.

• First level review of overall compliance activities like TDS/ GST etc including review of supporting financial details and getting it signed off.

• Preparation and submission of Monthly output GST tax return duly reconciled with Billing registered.

• Preparation and submission of Monthly Input GST tax return duly reconciled with electronic input registered and Cenvat ledgers.

• Preparation and submission for annual return duly reconciled with audited financials of the firm.

• Timely preparation and filing of tax refunds for GST wherever required.

• Ensure reconciliation of all tax GLs.

• Effectively manage team for timely tax compliances.

• Handling of queries related implication of GST raised by internally by AP or Business teams

Preferred candidate profile:

• Chartered Accountant with 8-9 years of post qualification work experience.

• Preferably working in Mid-sized MNC or Large local industry.

• Expert knowledge of working on Excel.

• Hands on experience of working on ERP like Oracle/ SAP etc.

• Analytical skills able to interpret and present data effectively.

• Ability to deliver within deadlines and under time pressure.

• Good Communication skills May have to communicate with teams outside India
