Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of Eaton as a detail-oriented and deadline-driven service engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and servicing breakdowns at customer sites. As an outstanding service engineer, you are expected to demonstrate resourcefulness, active listening, and troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities: - Providing high levels of customer service by handling 3-phase UPS Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, installation, and commissioning. - Communicating effectively with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. - Owning and ensuring end-to-end responsibility of RT & TAT for the customer according to committed SLA. - Handling and resolving escalations within the committed SLA. - Conducting regular training for Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and Senior FSEs. - Executing projects and coordinating with vendors. - Assigning calls to Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) and closely working with them to ensure task completion. - Conducting regular meetings with all major/key accounts. - Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback. - Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment. - Delivering demonstrations to educate customers on safe and effective equipment use. - Monitoring equipment and machinery performance, developing preventative maintenance measures, establishing field test methods, and monitoring test quality. - Providing recommendations for new features and necessary product improvements. - Writing reports and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors regularly. - Ensuring that measuring instruments are calibrated and all necessary items are available in the tool kit for field use. Qualification Required: - Technical Diploma, BE, or BTech in Electrical or Electronics. - Bachelor of Engineering experience range required between 8 years OR Diploma experience range should be between 10 years. Additional Company Details: You will be required to search for various business opportunities to increase service revenue by generating inquiries for AMC, UPS accessories, and batteries. Additionally, you should have the ability to handle a team of 2-3 contract engineers if required. Skills Required: - Must have electrical and electronics knowledge. - Relevant experience with UPS knowledge is mandatory. - Excellent listening and customer service skills. - Ability to handle multiple requests without being overwhelmed. - Professionalism under pressure. - Strong work ethic and growth mindset. - Ability to identify technical issues and provide quick resolutions.,
