Deputy Manager - Production Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for understanding customers" specifications of High Voltage motors and allied systems for projects in industries like LUV, Thermal power, and Refineries. Your role will involve preparing detailed motor manufacturing and testing documentation, tracking project-wise motor manufacturing plans, coordinating with production and purchase departments to ensure timely execution, and working closely with suppliers for machining, stator/rotor lamination fitment, and technical document verification. Additionally, you will be involved in ensuring the readiness of motor test set-up, interacting with external labs for special motor tests, reviewing project Quality Control Plans, and approving supplier documents for timely submission to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Understand customers" specifications for High Voltage motors and allied systems - Prepare detailed motor manufacturing and testing documentation - Track and monitor project-wise motor manufacturing plans - Coordinate with production and purchase departments for timely execution - Collaborate with suppliers for machining, stator/rotor lamination fitment, and technical document verification - Ensure readiness of motor test set-up and conduct in-house testing - Interact with external labs for special motor tests - Review project Quality Control Plans and approve supplier documents for submission to customers - Monitor Quality Control Plans and visit suppliers for inspection witness points - Possess knowledge of HT motor winding process and testing - Have knowledge of various motor certifications like ATEX, PESO, IECEx Qualifications Required: - Graduate engineer in Electrical engineering - Minimum 12 years of experience in HT Motor manufacturing and handling customers and suppliers in projects - In-depth knowledge of HT motor manufacturing and testing procedures - Familiarity with international and Indian standards for HV motors and allied systems - Experience in handling projects in a pump industry is preferred - Proficiency in MS Office and basic SAP Additional Details: N/A,
