Deputy Manager - Data Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize

  complex SQL queries

  for large-scale mutual fund and investor datasets
• Perform

  data extraction, transformation, and validation

  from transaction, folio, NAV, and investor databases
• Develop and maintain

  automated MIS, regulatory, and client reporting

  frameworks
• Build interactive and performance-optimized

  dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau

• Conduct

  data analysis and automation using Python

  for reporting and analytics use cases
• Support

  AMC-specific analytics requests

  , ad-hoc analysis, and periodic reporting requirements
• Ensure

  data accuracy, reconciliation, and consistency

  , adhering to RTA and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with operations, product, compliance, and IT teams to translate business requirements into analytics solutions
• Drive process improvements through

  automation and standardization of reports

• Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior analysts, where required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years

  of experience in data analytics, MIS, or business intelligence roles
• Strong hands-on experience with

  SQL

  (advanced joins, CTEs, performance tuning)
• Proficiency in

  Python

  for data analysis and automation (Pandas, NumPy)
• Extensive experience with

  Power BI and/or Tableau

• Strong understanding of

  data warehousing and ETL concepts

• Experience handling

  large, high-volume transactional datasets

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in

  Mutual Funds, RTA, AMC, Capital Markets, or Financial Services

• Familiarity with

  mutual fund concepts

  such as NAV, folios, transactions, AUM, SIPs, redemptions
• Experience with

  regulatory or compliance-driven reporting

• Exposure to cloud platforms or modern data ecosystems
• Experience mentoring or leading small analytics teams
