Deputy General Manager - Corporate Accounting

Role Overview: As a Deputy General Manager (Technical Accounting) at the company, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the closure of all technical accounting matters for TML Group, including JLR and other subsidiaries. You will play a crucial role in preparing accounting memos for new transactions, monitoring GAT issues, coordinating with auditors, preparing accounting matters deck for audit committee, reviewing financials, supporting special projects, collaborating with the business on process changes, and implementing accounting standards and regulatory changes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accounting memo/note for new transactions for TML and subsidiaries - Monitor GAT issues for all subsidiaries and liaise with auditors for smooth closure of accounting matters - Coordinate with group companies" auditors to ensure consistency in accounting positions - Prepare accounting matters deck for audit committee for Quarterly/Annual reporting - Review JLR/TMLHS quarterly/annual financials and facilitate smooth transition of work from JLR - Coordinate and support special projects such as M&A for accounting purposes - Collaborate with the business on new/changes in business processes - Implement Accounting standards and regulatory changes in accounting/reporting Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant with 6 to 8 years of post-qualification experience - Diploma in IFRS Additional Details: Your interactions will involve engaging with various stakeholders including TML functions such as Plant, Treasury, Legal, Secretarial, and Subsidiaries internally, and Statutory Auditors, External Valuer externally. Skills and competencies needed for this position include proficiency in Financial Reporting, Consolidation, IFRS, Ind AS, and Singapore GAAP.,
