Deputy Engineer - Primary

Key Responsibilities: - Clear understanding of work procedures and ability to work independently - Deliver drawings to desired quality standards and agreed timelines with clients - Communicate confidently with clients and foreign counterparts - Work collaboratively in a team to deliver projects on time - Attend meetings with technical leads Qualifications Required: - BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical - Minimum 3+ years of experience in primary design, including AIS & GIS Substation experience up to 400kV - Design T & D systems up to 400kV for Utility companies based on international standards for Middle East, UK, Australia, & US regions - Perform Primary Design activities such as Key SLDs, AC/DC SLDs, cable schedules, interconnections schedules, Specifications, Bulk MTO, etc. - Apply practical knowledge to design layouts & produce Equipment layouts for various systems - Conduct Equipment sizing calculations and prepare technical specifications & data sheets - Review vendor drawings of electrical equipment & calculations - Coordinate effectively with leads, resolve design issues, and conduct work with team members - Proficiency in ETAP, SKM software, MicroStation, AutoCAD & basic knowledge of Revit & Substation 3D design - Strong communication & IT skills - Ability to work under challenging workload and attend client meetings for technical clarifications Additional Company Details: At Jacobs, they value people and strive to provide the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle to consistently deliver and exceed clients" expectations.
