Role Overview: As the Deputy Divisional Wire Rod Mill Operation, your main responsibility will be to implement all management directives within the department. Your primary goal is to achieve the outlined parameters in the department's business plan while ensuring a safe and accident-free working environment. You must comply with all management directives, analyze any potential gaps, and take corrective actions as necessary. Your role is crucial in creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction within the division. You will lead, guide, direct, and evaluate the work of other executives while overseeing team operations to ensure successful project completion within the set timeline and budget. Key Responsibilities: - Make and manage budgets, reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve overall company performance. - Coordinate and manage subordinates, facilitate interdepartmental communication, and allocate tasks and resources efficiently. - Manage a diverse, multi-disciplined team of professionals, set clear goals and objectives, delegate responsibilities, provide guidance, and evaluate subordinates to maximize efficiency and productivity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in metallurgical, mechanical, or electrical engineering. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in plant operation. - Technical competencies in operation & maintenance, project management, and process analytics. - Behavioral competencies in team management, leadership, guiding, directing, evaluating work, and effective coordination with subordinates.
