Overview
This role will serve as the global lead for Reporting & Analytics within the Requisition to Pay (R2P) function to drive informed decision-making and actionable insights by delivering insights on R2P operations, supplier performance, category spend, savings opportunities, Catalog penetration and compliance. The person is responsible for leading the global strategy and execution of spend analytics across the R2P function
Responsibilities
Purpose
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions that drive insights and performance across the Requisition to Pay (R2P) process.
- Serve as the strategic data partner to R2P leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making through robust dashboards, KPIs, and predictive analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and standardization across global R2P reporting frameworks.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities through advanced analytics
- Lead global analytics and reporting team located across centers

Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and lead a reporting and analytics team across capability centers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and user centricity.
- Define and drive the global reporting & analytics strategy for the requisition-to-pay (R2P) function.
- Manage a team of analysts, providing coaching, development, and performance management.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align reporting needs and priorities.
Data Strategy & Architecture
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting frameworks, dashboards, and scorecards for R2P performance monitoring, in collaboration with R2P Techonlogy and Enterprise Architechture teams.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all reporting platforms.
- Own the requisition-to-pay self?service BI platform strategy (modeling, certified datasets, workspace governance) and oversee dashboard standards and release management.
- Oversee management of custom and ad hoc reporting, related to categories, spend, and process reporting to meet specific business needs
- Serve as a key advisor to the senior leaders on data-driven strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with other sub capability leads, delivery leads and global procurement to define KPIs, calculation methodologies and define KPI tracking framework
- Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Standardize global spend classification, cleansing, and enrichment processes using AI/ML or third-party tools where applicable
- Analyse spend data to identify cost savings opportunities, maverick spend, catalog leakage, Preferred Supplier leakage, supplier consolidation possibilities and non-compliant transactions.
Advanced Analytics & Automation
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level narratives.
- Drive automation of manual reporting processes using tools like Power BI, Alteryx, or Python.
- Stand up and prioritize an analytics backlog (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive), including automation of operational reporting, process compliance, and exception alerts.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of digital solutions, such as AI, to simplify reporting processes and enhance user experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and visualization.
- Timely review the efficacy of the existing tech solutions to upgrade to the newest in the market.
- Stays up to date with emerging digital solutions in the market to continuously improve end user experience.
Performance Management & Service Excellence
- Lead the implementation of self-service analytics tools and capabilities for business users.
- Standardize the KPI/SLA framework, dashboards and benefit tracking for the requisition-to-pay service catalog, while ensuring consistent performance measurement across all centers.
- Monitor end-to-end requisition-to-pay KPI/SLA, process compliance and spend analytics.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of R2P insights tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Coupa, Ariba).
- Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure data quality, integration, and security
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Partner with process owners, finance, procurement, and IT to define and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Partner with Delivery leads, MSO's and category managers to support strategy development through deep analytics and benchmarking.
- Manage internal and external requests for reporting & analytics, providing stakeholders with timely and accurate information.
- Present data insights, findings, and recommendations to senior management, facilitating data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Promote automation and self-service analytics capabilities across the user group
- Manage governance and operations of existing dashboards and reporting tools.
- Support audits by providing the right set of data.
Qualifications
- Significant experience (10-14) years in reporting & analytics
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) for data visualization and reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement software (e.g., Ariba)
- Proven ability to manage large datasets and deliver insights in a clear, concise manner
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage global teams and drive compliance and risk management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- SAP/Ariba/PowerBI/SQL experience
