Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists and specialists during dental procedures by handing them instruments, operating suction devices, and providing other chairside assistance.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as dental cements, impression materials, and restorative materials.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
• Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records in the practice management software system.
• Assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phone calls, greeting patients, and processing payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including treatment rooms, sterilization areas, and reception area.
