Description
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Delphi development in the R&D team, your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and enhancing Delphi applications with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance. - Implementing multi-threaded solutions and integrating web technologies (XML, JavaScript, HTML) within an N-tier architecture. - Writing and maintaining clean, well-structured code while following best software development practices. - Conducting code reviews, debugging applications, and suggesting improvements to ensure high-quality standards. - Collaborating with business analysts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. - Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot applications and resolve issues promptly. - Serving as a point of contact for customers, providing clear and efficient resolutions to their concerns. - Responding to customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6 to 10 years of experience in Delphi development (Borland/Embarcadero Delphi 11, Delphi XE8). - Proficiency in developing designable forms and highly configurable components. - Strong experience with COM objects, OLE, and ADO components. - Expertise in web technologies (XML, HTML) within an N-tier architecture. - Proven ability to prototype, evaluate solutions, write technical specifications, and lead development efforts. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges. - Hands-on experience with multi-threaded Windows development. - Strong background in Agile development methodologies and experience working in team environments. - Ability to analyze requirements and user stories, clarify doubts, and deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. - Experience in interacting with internal teams and backend teams to develop and implement software projects. - Proficiency in GIT for version control. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. - Willingness to proactively learn MES standards, workflows, and technologies for Solumina (Delphi-based product). Desired skills that would be beneficial for this role are: - Understanding of REST API and JSON. - Experience in SQL/PLSQL. - Familiarity with reporting tools such as Rave Reports. - Exposure to DevOps and JavaScript technologies. Your educational background should include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MCA with a science stream is also acceptable.
