Duties and Responsibilities Lead designer duties for OLE design Schemes. Delivery and management of the production of technical designs for OLE including Layout Plans, Cross Sections, Allocations, Isolation Diagrams updates, bonding designs, and supporting reports and calculations. Ensuring designs are delivered in line with relevant, current design standards, are constructable, and apply Safe by Design principles. Communicate effectively with other design/construction disciplines and sub-contractors Respond to design queries during construction phase and attend online meetings if required. Commercial Maintain cost effective standards for OLE designs Contribute to the development of continuous improvement plans Develop and maintain client relationships as appropriate Managerial Manage time and resources effectively Manage performance and team development Manage the appraisal of staff competency Develop and manage subordinate staff in line with the Unit Business Plan Professional Ensure a commitment to continuing CPD for self and others Delegate responsibility effectively Display creativity and problem-solving ability in approach to assignments, projects and tasks Show capacity to improve effectiveness. Exercise leadership and interpersonal skills in the management and motivation of others Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK) 9+ Years of Experience. Proven lead designer experience of significant Overhead Line technical design Comprehensive knowledge and Experienced in OLEMI and other OLE ranges i.e. UKMS, Series-1, Series-2, Mk3B, GEFF, Mk1, SICAT, SNCF, UK1 etc. Familiar with Isolation diagrams and their update process. Understanding of Earthing & Bonding required for electrification Proficient in Bentley MicroStation CAD software Excellent communication and organization Skills. Understanding of CSM-RA & Health and Safety including CDM Experience in managing teams. Candidates will be able to provide experience of working in a 3D common data environment working to BIM procedures and practices. Ability to develop OLE designs through the different stages of the project life cycle for complex sites Knowledge of the design processes of other rail disciplines and how they may impact OLE designs

Sound Knowledge of 8 Pillars of TPM including Approach/Methodologies of all Pillars. Promote &ensure JH Gemba work culture at Circle level across plants.Must be conversant with 7 Steps of JH for implementation.TPM Policy deployment:KMI, KPI &KAI

Monitor the Daily, Weekly, Monthly Production plan vs schedule adherence and, Gap analysis and continuous improvement in Overall Efficiency thru minimizing the losses Model migration by developing fitment wise BOMs, Manifests, SOPs, Control plan and Gemba visits for guidance. Support new product development through early involvement in DFMEA, proto, pilot production and ramp up ensuring achievement of quality and capacity targets. Ensuring the effective deployment & strengthening of systems (TQM, TPM, ISO, OHSAS, AFSEM, IATF etc) within sub-PU Maintain & Improve Environment, Health, and Safety of All Employees. Compliance of statutory requirements in department Maintain harmonious industrial relations in manufacturing operation. Sustaining and Continuous Improvement the operational excellence by strengthening Productivity, Quality, Delivery, Cost & sustainability initiatives. Make manufacturing processes robust to ensure first time and every time right product quality by analysis of failure modes and taking preventive and corrective actions - Strengthening of processes to ensure no flow of defects.
