Position / Role: Project Manager Experience Required: 4-8 years. Location: Mumbai Reports to: Director Key Responsibilities • Project Planning and Management: o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. o Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Execution and Supervision: o Oversee all phases of project execution, including procurement, site preparation, construction, installation, and finishing. o Manage subcontractors and ensure their work aligns with project specifications and quality standards. o Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. • Quality Control and Compliance: o Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and finish. o Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. o Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the project. • Budget and Resource Management: o Monitor project expenses and manage budgets effectively. o Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms and prices. o Optimize resource utilization and manage inventory of materials and equipment. • Client Communication and Reporting: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. o Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and risk assessments. o Facilitate client meetings and ensure their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. • Team Leadership and Development: o Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators, site supervisors, and other staff. o Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. o Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members. Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to conceptualize, develop, and refine innovative and functional furniture pieces. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical design skills with an understanding of materials, trends, and manufacturing processes. Youll work closely with design teams, production staff, and clients to bring high-quality furniture from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and develop new furniture designs based on client needs, market trends, and brand direction. Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or SketchUp). Select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods for design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and marketing. Modify existing furniture designs to improve functionality, sustainability, or reduce production costs. Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and feedback sessions. Stay updated on design trends, materials, manufacturing technologies, and sustainability practices. Ensure all designs meet safety regulations, ergonomic standards, and quality benchmarks. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field. Proven experience in furniture design or related design field. Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials (wood, metal, fabric, etc.), and furniture ergonomics. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
