We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate various driving conditions. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of our services.

Duties

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organisation.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• A valid commercial driving licence is essential for operating larger vehicles.
• Familiarity with local roads and routes is advantageous.
• Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
