Delivery Architect - Assurance

As a Blue Planet Delivery Architect at Ciena, you will be responsible for delivering business-critical solutions to customers post-sales. Your role will involve transitioning projects from Sales to Professional Services, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest standards. Your technical depth and leadership skills will be crucial in guiding solution design, delivery, and customer success. Here's how you will contribute: - Work closely with customers, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to design and implement scalable Blue Planet solutions. - Translate business requirements into technical architecture, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry best practices. - Provide leadership and guidance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and support. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive solution adoption, ensure seamless integration, and deliver successful customer outcomes. - Act as a trusted advisor for customers on Blue Planet capabilities, product enhancements, and roadmap alignment. - Ensure delivery excellence by driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement in solution implementations. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 11+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, or software delivery, with at least 6 years focused on telecom/OSS/BSS domains. - Good knowledge of Python, Perl, Scripting with Linux/unix. - Proven expertise in IP/MPLS networking (ISIS, OSPF, BGP, Traffic Engineering, MPLS Services) and designing, deploying complex solutions using Blue Planet, OSS, or network automation platforms. - Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD frameworks. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
