Decision Science Consultant

The Decision Science Consultant position at Xtage offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that drives high-impact business decisions through analytical insights. As a member of the Decision Science team, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable strategies that fuel growth and shape the organization's direction. Your primary responsibilities will include aggregating, analyzing, and interpreting website visitor behavior data across various platforms. You will be tasked with building data visualizations and reports that provide key insights for decision-making within the organization. Experience with Adobe analytics and click-stream data will be essential for generating valuable insights and automated funnel reporting. In this role, you will also automate anomaly detection, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and utilize data science models to drive business decisions. Your ability to create informative and repeatable reports highlighting business trends and improvement opportunities will be crucial. Additionally, you will develop processes for data monitoring, validation, and optimization to enhance business outcomes. The ideal candidate for this position will have 2 to 4 years of experience in eCommerce or D2C visitor analysis, with a strong background in analyzing raw clickstream data. Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, SQL, and Python will be required to uncover user paths, engagement patterns, and conversion funnels. Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be advantageous. A strong understanding of statistical concepts including EDA, Anomaly Detection, Regression, and Hypothesis Testing is preferred. The role also involves conducting cross-training sessions to introduce new tools and techniques for mining customer insights. This fully remote position requires at least 4 hours of overlap with the US team in the CST Time Zone. Salary will be based on experience and current package.
