Job Description

Job Title: DBT Data Engineer Key Responsibilities As a DBT Data Engineer, you will: SQL Development & Optimization: Apply strong SQL skills, including Common Table Expressions (CTE), for data manipulation and optimization. Database Management: Utilize Snowflake or equivalent strong database experience for data handling, including SQL tuning. DBT Implementation: Work with DBT Core or DBT Cloud for data transformation and modeling. Development Best Practices: Adhere to and promote development best practices, including peer reviews and unit testing. Data Modeling: Apply fundamental data modeling concepts such as 3NF, Star, Snowflake schemas, and understanding the grain of data. Data Analysis & Profiling: Perform data analysis and data profiling tasks to ensure data quality and understanding. Mandatory Skills & Experience Strong SQL skills , including Common Table Expressions (CTE). Experience with Snowflake or very strong database experience , including SQL tuning. Experience in DBT Core or DBT Cloud . Good understanding of development best practices, peer reviews, and unit testing . Understanding of fundamental data modeling concepts such as 3NF, Star, Snowflake schemas, and the grain of data. Experience in Data Analysis and Data Profiling tasks.
