DBA MYSQL/Postgres

You will be responsible for maintaining the database to ensure its smooth operation 24/7, aiming to facilitate a seamless flow of information across the company. This includes managing both the backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users. Your main tasks will involve building high-quality database systems tailored to meet the specific needs of end-users, designing and implementing databases to align with user information requirements, and ensuring data is distributed to the appropriate users in a timely manner and suitable format. You will also be in charge of implementing high-speed transaction recovery techniques, backing up data, reducing database downtime, and optimizing parameters for quick query responses. It will be your duty to offer both proactive and reactive data management support and training to users, establish and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards, conduct regular tests and evaluations to uphold data security, privacy, and integrity, monitor database performance, implement necessary changes, and apply updates as needed. The ideal candidate for this role should have proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in MySQL and Postgres. Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications is essential, along with a deep understanding of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL. Familiarity with database design, documentation, coding, DBA case tools, third-party tools, programming languages API, as well as strong problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills are required. An engineering degree in a computer discipline is mandatory, and any relevant certifications would be advantageous.,
