Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain DB2 UDB databases.
Perform database backup, recovery, and restore operations.
Monitor database health, performance, and resource usage.
Manage database security and user access controls.
Perform database patching, upgrades, and apply fixes.
Troubleshoot database issues, ensure high availability and stability.
Collaborate with application and support teams for seamless database operations.
Automate routine database administration tasks using scripts or tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Minimum 5 years of experience in DB2 UDB administration.
Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security best practices.
Experience working in a hybrid environment with UK shift timings.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
