DB2 Database SME on zOS- Assistant Vice President

As an experienced DB2 DBA for Markets and Securities Services Technology - Custody Application, SECORE, your role will involve providing in-depth expertise on DB2 database management. You will be the subject matter expert for all matters related to DB2 database for Custody Application, SECORE. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a key SME for DB2 database, offering advisory role in design and delivery of changes - Adhering to defined standards and best practices for managing DB2 Databases - Working with CTI to manage and implement application changes through various environments - Monitoring and performing regular health checks of all Custody Application, SECORE Databases - Developing and delivering solutions to support application development and reduce costs Key Skills and Experience: - 8-13 years of DB2 experience within the Banking Industry - Strong IT background with end-to-end experience of Service Delivery - Good knowledge of JCL, COBOL, REXX, TWS, File Aid and CA Platinum DB2 Tools - Experience in performance tuning of batch and online applications - Sound understanding of DB2 database architecture - Demonstrable expertise in DB2 within a large-scale organization - Highly motivated with good analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed team - Self-motivated and capable of working independently - Excellent written and verbal English skills Desirable skill: - DB2 Certified Professional or comparable qualifications If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, you can review Accessibility at Citi.,
