Job Description

Role Overview: As an Architect at Capgemini, you will be responsible for architecting high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using DB2 and SQL Server. You will need to be familiar with cloud-based DB2 deployments and LUW. Additionally, you should have expertise in database administration of DB2 for Z databases and proficiency in database design on mid-range DBMSs, with proven experience in techniques and tools used across the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using DB2 and SQL Server - Managing cloud-based DB2 deployments & LUW - Administering DB2 for Z databases - Designing databases on mid-range DBMSs - Contributing to the development of data and database standards - Leading the data element of projects to influence technical and delivery strategy - Collaborating with product managers, release managers, engineers, and data modellers - Reviewing data access requirements and designing database access modules to meet the Banks API architecture Qualifications Required: - Experience in relational database design, data modelling, performance tuning, implementation, housekeeping, and live support of mid-range database systems for Operational (OLTP) systems - Knowledge of database development standards and practices - Strong expertise in leading database development projects - Proficiency in SQL - Ability to work in cutting-edge cloud IT infra technology - Strong focus on Innovation, Cloud, Security, and Automation Additional Company Details: Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, with a diverse team of 340,000 members in more than 50 countries.
