Data/Information Management Intelligence Analyst

You will be a part of the Analytics Information Management (AIM) team at Citi, a global community dedicated to driving data-driven transformation across the organization. Your role will involve creating actionable intelligence for business leaders by implementing best-in-class data quality measurement programs in the retail consumer bank globally. As a member of the DQM team, you will be responsible for various critical areas, including but not limited to regulatory support, metrics design, data governance, DQ scorecards, issue management, and audit support. You will work towards executing data quality measurements in alignment with regulatory programs, designing data quality rules, standardizing data definitions, publishing scorecards, investigating root causes of issues, and providing support for audits. To excel in this role, you must possess strong analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis, visualization, formulating analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns in data, and generating actionable business insights. Proficiency in tools such as SAS, SQL, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA is preferred. Additionally, domain skills in data definitions, data discovery, data quality framework, data governance, and process improvement are highly valued. Experience in KPIs design, issue resolution, control gap identification, and measuring program effectiveness will be beneficial. Knowledge of finance regulations and understanding of the retail business landscape are advantageous. Soft skills such as problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills, process/project management, and the ability to collaborate across functional areas are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will hold an MBA or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or Engineering from a premier institute. A BTech/B.E. in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Applications is also acceptable. A post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Management Science, or related fields is preferred. You should have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience delivering data quality solutions, with at least 2 years in the banking industry.
