Mandatory skills:
- Proficiency in C Language, Bug fixing with excellent debugging skills
- Experience in working on Chassis based Router/Switches and Networking devices - Chassis
management, Interfaces (ethernet, T1E1/OC3/OC12), device drivers, i2c, PCI, Timing (PTP, SyncE).
- Experience in Broadcom/Marvel chipsets & SDK, forwarding, L2/L3/MPLS, QoS, CoS, ACL, OAM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ownership in handling and driving the sustenance activities in Switches & Routers- Analysis/fixing of
assigned defects, regular follow up with stakeholders, proper closure of reported issue with complete
analysis/fix.
- Hands-on in C language with good debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written). Able to communicate with support team/customer
and provide proactive and periodic updates on the day to day activities in bug fixing.
- Ensure quality deliverable.
- Must be a good team player, able to guide/mentor junior engineers
- Must have keen interest in learning new technology
