Data Engineer - Databricks

About The Role:

Key Responsibilities

Build reusable data ingestion and transformation frameworks using Databricks Notebooks, Jobs, and Workflows.
Develop and optimise Delta Lake datasets with effective partitioning and indexing.
Implement data governance through Unity Catalogue.
Support cloud migration projects on AWS and Azure.
Utilize Databricks Delta Live Tables (DLT) for efficient ETL pipeline development.

Requirements

Experience in cloud data migration (AWS/Azure).
2 to 5 years of hands-on Databricks experience (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Workflows).
Strong knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and cloud data platforms.
Databricks certifications preferred.
2 to 5 years of hands-on Databricks experience (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Workflows).
Good understanding of Databricks features like Autoloader, Delta Live Table, Lake Flow Connect, Unity Catalogue, etc.
Good to have Have explored tools like Lakebridge.
